Issues unresolved[edit]

'Cannot locate the CD-ROM' error after patching the game[edit]

After patching the game to the latest official version (v1.13), the game cannot detect the disc, even if it's in the drive. The only 'solution' is to use a No-CD patch.

Due to the legality of the patch, PCGamingWiki cannot directly link to any downloads of it.

Game crashes at the end of graphics calibration[edit]

Game always asks for graphics calibration on game startup[edit]

Issues fixed[edit]

Black screen on startup[edit]

Enable the following compatibility settings for the Gp3.exe file: Compatibility mode (Windows XP (Service Pack 2))

Adding compatibility for modern Windows[edit]

Use dgVoodoo 2[citation needed]
  1. Download and setup dgVoodoo 2.
  2. Once the initial setup is done, go to the MS subfolder.
  3. Copy the D3DImm.dll and DDraw.dll files and paste them into <path-to-game>.
  4. Run the game.
